Hey...you know what? My gallery was all messed up! Did that happen to anyone else?

I had re-posted a new picture of my black fox, thinking that it wasn't in my gallery, when actually I had a different picture of the same mask already there (it just wasn't visible at the time). Hmm. My bad. :-(

Apparently there was something wrong with the Internet Explorer version of DevArt for a few weeks. But it's all good now, so yay. That's good news, 'cause for a while there my front page was all scrunched over to the left and it looked just AWFUL. It made me angry every time I went to my front page. New visitors were probably thinking I was some kind of idiot who couldn't be bothered to justify the panels on my own home page...waaah! Little things like that drive me nuts. I hate looking un-professional. I mean, if I'm paying extra for a premium membership here, it ought to look good, y'know?

Anyhoo, it's a lovely Autumn day out there. I just raked all the leaves and cut down a summer's worth of garden growth. I have a wild English-style garden which turns into a jungle every year. Which is fine, except it leaves a massive tangle of dead stuff in its wake every Fall. That I have to hack down. Bleagh.

Consequently I'm tired. But it's still too nice outside to stay indoors, so I'm going for a bike ride. My upper body is beat but my legs are just fine. ;-)

Happy Post-Halloween everyone! Don't eat too much candy...

WOW!! one word to describe your work, how do you get all the designs on the leather, do you carve it? also how do you know how big you need to make it when you make a new piece when you are drawing it?

Thanks! :-)

Yes, the designs are tooled with leather-tooling & carving knife & bevellers. & as for your other question...I don't know. Trial & error? I'm self-taught so I just figured it all out on my own, by experimenting.
