The Big Bad Wolf goes Steampunk.

Here's a favorite design that I have loads of fun making. This is a wolf with one "goggle-monocle" eye, ready to wear to your next steampunk convention or masquerade. Perfect for Mardi Gras or Halloween, or just a night out at the club.

The mask is hand carved from 8oz leather, shaped with no mold or form by hand, painted with colorfast acrylics in bright white and gray, with black accenting the carved fur, and sealed with a clear acrylic for protection.

The monocle is half of a pair of retro-look goggles (the right eye). Made of lightweight PVC, it is augmented with real brass cogs and antique brass clock gears. It is custom-fitted to the mask (the hole behind it matches the shape of the opening) and secured with brass rivets and fasteners. The cap may be unscrewed and the 50mm lens replaced. This mask comes with one amber acrylic lens. There is a 20 inch long brass chain attached to the gears on the side of the goggle, with a brass clasp on the other end which can be left clipped to the mask or unclipped and attached to a vest pocket or shirt button.
