I know this design exists elsewhere in my gallery, but...eh. I just made a new one, it's prettier than the last one, and I took better pictures. So, Amaterasu Kitsune Revisited.
This mask is inspired by the video game "Okami" Google it...prettiest PS2 game ever. You get to save the world with art. As a beautiful wolf. What could be better?
This is NOT a wolf, however. This is a kitsune, or Japanese fox spirit. The markings work really well as a nearly traditional kitsune mask. I think the Sumi-E swirls in her ears are especially spiffy.
