I was commissioned to do a pair of masks for a hunt-themed masquerade. This guy wanted a foxhound mask for himself and a red fox for his wife. He placed the order on Friday. He was supposed to be much further along on my "to do" list, but I got sucked in by all the cute foxhound pictures & started researching right away. American Foxhounds are SO CUTE.

Before I knew it, his hound mask turned into my weekend project. I did not one but TWO of them, because I couldn't decide which color version I liked better.

There's absolutely no way to make a fierce-looking hound dog mask, I've decided. You just have to resign yourself to being cute when you wear it.
