I've had SO many requests to make Anubis...this is actually an older design of mine but I just haven't done one in awhile.

So, I finished a brand new one last night, just so I could take pictures to show you! You are so special... ^_^

Anubis is the Egyptian god of the underworld and a very serious fellow (I think as a mask pairing, this guy goes really well with Bast...she's so lighthearted she kind of takes the edge off him).

The ears are very traditional..."sun-ray" motif very common in ancient Egyptian art. The muzzle though...I made it broader & more realistic than the narrow stylized Anubis muzzle commonly depicted.
