Beast Mask V2by *merimask

Artisan Crafts / Costumery / Masks

This is a brand new design and lots of fun to make...a lion-like "Beast" mask.

This masks is (like everything I do) made from one piece of hand carved, hand sculpted 8 ounce tooling leather. It has been painted with colorfast Liquitex acrylics in black, dark brown, light brown, and bone white .

The curled ram's horns are made of durable polymer clay and secured to the mask, also painted in black, brown and white to match the beast.

I'm having too much fun, playing with clay and getting different effects.

Working on a horned "demon wolf" right now, 'cause I can't stop myself.
