Black Bear Leather Maskby *merimask

Here is a frequently requested, brand new design; a North American Black Bear mask.

Like all my masks, this is made from 8oz leather, hand carved and hand shaped with no molds, stamps or forms. I took great care to carve every hair, because I wanted this mask to be as realistic as possible. It's painted with a combination of acrylic stains and colorfast Liquitex acrylic paints; black with red/brown markings in a semi-transparent stain, and sealed with a clear coat for durability.
