*sigh* I messed up! I'm all tired and out of sorts, lately (that's my excuse). A customer requested a black and silver wolf with a scar on the ~left~ eye...I did one with the scar on the ~right~. Idiot! :dummy:

So I made it again (correctly this time) and this poor scarred orphan is in my Etsy shop right now. [link] He needs a good home!

As ever, this is made from one piece of hand carved, hand molded 8oz veg tanned tooling leather. Painted with Liquitex acrylics in black with pewter accents.

Custom orders can be requested at my shop (I almost always get them right!) ;-)

This is my absolute favorite piece that you've ever done. It's beautiful and that doesn't really even cover half of what I feel when I look at this mask.

Are the wolves keeping you up at night, lately?

Client should have bought this one, too, then switch halfway through the night while wearing it. Then people would ask "wasn't the scar on the other side?" "I have a scar?!" <-- Natural, automatic response... if you're a fan of Mel Brooks. ;)

My husband would love this! We're thinking for our 10yr wedding anniversary of doing a venetian party with friends. I hope I remember your work in 2 years so that I could order one of your beautiful masks!

I was wondering, I know the original was commissioned by someone but I wonder, if I can use this mask as a reference for artwork? Of course, I'd link right back to you and for my purposes, I will remove the scar, but this fits really well wit the idea of a image I wanted to make about an original story with werewolves where the human has a wolf mask. If I need additional permission from the original commissioner I'm willing to ask as well. If not, then I thank you for taking the time to read this.

I agree! & once it's carved, it's not like it can be erased. :-/
