It's not always leatherwork for me...sometimes I paint! I only paint for myself, though. Leather sculpting is my business, but watercolors are strictly a hobby.

Nevertheless, here is my version of a Japanese dragon in the clouds. Seiryuu...the Dragon Of The East.

Just watercolors here. Real watercolors, not a program. I am a luddite.

the swirlies look great on this design! I'm not very good with paint (it hates me), but you're AMAZING! lol the dragon looks like its smiling! XD

It's lovely! Well, I know this is just 2D, but spoken about your masks... Maybe you could make a mask of this one. Real nice colours, shape of the head is great. And the 2D version is really great :D

i was just flipping through your gallery i was amazed by this one=) have you ever thought of doing illustrations for books at all. i am just saying if my drawings were this impressive thats what i would be doing=D

I love Asian dragons a lot more than the Western dragons. Watercolors are so magicial & they keep on surprising you. This is just an awesome dragon. :nod:

Have you ever read the manga, Fushigi Yugi: The Mysterious Play by manga-ka Yuu Watase?
If not you're in for a treat since it deals with the Chinese mythology of the 27 constellations being 7 warriors of the North, South, West & East. It's 18 manga volumes long. =D The story & artwork is wicked cool. ^^

I've read it so I decided to collect all 18 volumes of it!
Yeah I agree on FUSHIGI YUGI :THE MYSTERIOUS PLAY being a
very fun read & having a wonderful rendering. =)

Have you read the CELES: CELESTIAL LEGEND which is a bit dark, yet just as good as FY. :w00t:
