Just finished a new Venetian Raven. This one is black, blue and white, with gold details. I haven't done one of these in a while! They're actually very relaxing to make...not hard to shape, and I get into a Zen-like place when I'm drawing all those swirls on.

As ever, this is hand carved, hand shaped 8 ounce tooling leather. Painted with Liquitex acrylics. I use paint pens for the swirls (to save my sanity!).

Lovely! I have just been to Venice myself (arrived back home yesterday) and I was soooo astonished by all of the masks. I bought one myself, handmade, and with sketches on it from a venetian artist. And there is just 1 of it ^^
