Here's the second Jeweled Half-Dragon mask I made today. A design so nice, I had to do it twice. :-) Snoutless, because not everyone wants a long honker of a dragon nose...I call these "half dragons" and they're really easy to wear.

As ever, this is one piece of 8oz leather. Carved and shaped by hand, painted with Liquitex acrylics in gold, green and black. The brown part of the mask is acrylic antique stain (I mixed my own shade of brown...1 part saddle tan, one part mahogany, 1 part dark brown), sponged over plain leather. Gives it a rich naturally textured brown glow.

This dragon is also embellished with green Swarovski crystals. Available right now in my Etsy shop [link] this is Jeweled Dragon #3.

The green is so subtle but at the same time it makes you look twice to see what's setting off the brown so nicely.

I love these designs. There's something about the lines and the colours you've chosen that just appeals to me so much; it's kind of strictly geometric without becoming too full of straight lines and angles, if that makes ANY sort of sense.

I love the colors used here! The design is different from your Half-Dragons, but I like it. :)

The crystals are also a nice touch.

The subtle green adds perfectly to the antique brown :-)
