A new pair of basic dragon masks finished yesterday & photographed between thunderstorms. "Starry Night" half masks, because people seem to love them and I love making them. They're fun because I just doodle the dragons right on the mask...it's fresh every time which keeps it interesting for me, even though I've made hundreds of these.

I finally got smart and bought a few big remnants of upholstery fabric, by the way. So now I have some nice neutral textured backgrounds I can always count on, regardless of weather or season. I have NO idea why I didn't do this sooner.

These guys, as ever, are hand carved hand shaped 8oz leather. Painted with Liquitex acrylics. Both available in my Etsy shop: [link]

Im a BIG fan of the color green but you have me rethinking my favorite color. I love the detail and the cleanliness of you painting. the fact that you hand draw each dragon and dont use a template is SO amazing. With doing so many dragon masks like these I would have broke down and used a Template but you have not. That just shows you love and Stunning Artistic Capability with you work. :winner: Very Cool set. I might have to hit you up for my sis's Birthday I know she would LOVE a mask like these... :worship:
