Dragon Of Thornsby *merimask

Here is a new creation I've been thinking about doing for quite a while. My leather masks are carved and textured, but I can't do protrusions or horns or other 3D features.

Until now. This is a marriage of 8oz leather and polymer clay. "Dragon Of Thorns", version 1. I used no molds...every element on this mask is sculpted by hand, so it can never be repeated exactly. A real one of a kind piece of wearable art.

Painted with colorfast acrylics in black, metallic blue and metallic teal. Available in my shop (until it is gone!) here: [link]
