These little desert foxes are so cute...I just had to make a fennec mask. The idea happened suddenly yesterday, & then the pattern just fell out of my head on to some paper, & this mask was finished in no time.
My daughter really really wants one of these...apparently they make great pets. She's a lousy pet-owner though so, I don't think we'll be getting a fennec anytime soon. Still, they are awfully cute! Yes, their ears really are that huge. Like all my masks, this is hand-carved and hand-shaped from one piece of thick leather, with no molds, stamps or forms.
