Here is my second version of the FireFox design, this time in red fox colors. I'm crazy about this one. ^_^

Since it's a fantasy fox, I used a little bright gold in there to accent the red fox fur.

For some reason, even though this is a highly stylized fox, to me it looks more truly "foxlike" than my smaller more realistic fox design. Perhaps because the extra fur & carving accentuates the tiny muzzle and sweet little domed forehead. Whenever I see one on my bike path, the red fox always amazes me with their dainty almost catlike appearance.

Looks fantastic in fox colors. And I think you're right about it's "foxiness" I think it's in the nose...

Now that's a colour scheme, everything works so well here, the white and black really adds another layer of depth to the mask....

Love these fantasy foxes! I think you're right, it somehow looks a little more realistic...I love the "normal" sleek-faced fox you make, but the fluffy cheeks are super foxy. :)
