So yeah, this happened. I got a mad urge to work with some high-quality glass cabochon eyes and...stuff got made. This is a Dragon Eye eye patch.
The leather (hand carved and shaped entirely by me) is cupped, so that this is actually a functional piece (and not just a slab of leather that'll bang into your eye). I spent the weekend figuring it out. This is what I do, instead of having a social life. So it goes.

wow this is awesome ,
i am just starting to work with leather ,
just made myself a knife sheath and 3 cuff bracelets with almost no tools ,
(a scalpel knife,a punch to make stitching holes , and some creativity )
i have a ton of ideas in my head and your work just added even more ideas ,
if you have some tips for me how to work with acrylic paint on leather en tooling tips please do
keep up the awesome work !
