Gray Wolf Leather Maskby *merimask

This was a special request; my basic black/silver wolf design done in gray and white instead. I think it turned out really cute! I hope the customer likes it.

As ever, this is made from one piece of 8oz leather; carved and shaped by hand. Painted with Liquitex Acrylics.

I love the tear drops above the eyes... Your detail is always so satisfying.

I really like it, the grey makes the carved design pop out more than the black (at least on a photo). I like the contrast of the smooth face areas with the textured ones, it gives the mask more depth and life.
