I just finished this girl last night; another one of my Medusa masks.
It was a custom order from my Etsy shop; a black Medusa with snakes that shaded from blue green through pine green to gold, in metallic tones. Tricky, 'cause adding the gold to the pine green makes it less and less blue, but I think I got it right.
The eyes of the tiny snakes are turquoise beads.
This mask is made from one piece of 8oz leather, hand carved & tooled, and hand shaped with no mold or form. Painted with Liquitex acrylics.

Maybe because I live where the Medusa legends begun, I love this one very much... Brilliant design and details, and the colors are perfect. The eyes looks even hypnotic! Marvellous.
