Half Dragon Masks, pairby *merimask

This is a pair of Half Dragons I just finished the other day...custom orders from my Etsy shop.

I call them "half-dragons" because with this design I leave out the lower half of the mask; the dragon snout. Not everyone wants to wear a dragon mask that gives them a great long schnozz. :-)

Each made from hand-carved, hand tooled 8oz leather. I use a tool called a "mule foot" stamp to make those scales. It's supposed to be used for scalloped tooled edges on Western-style belts but I find it's the perfect "scale" if you do it correctly. Takes a long time but it's a cool effect & worth the effort.
