Artist's Comments
When I designed my "Fullsteam" leather steampunk mask (which you can see if you check out my gallery), I liked the elements on each side of the mask so much that I did two more masks with one side plain brown leather & one side full of clockwork gear elements. This was the left side of the "Fullsteam" design, so I called it "Halfgear".
The gearworks were drawn from life...I used a German watch as my model. Everything is carved by hand & painted with Liquitex metallic acrylic paints. This mask can be commissioned at my Etsy shop: [link] |
