Ifrit Mask

An Ifrit is a mythological creature, often depicted as a demon dog with horns. Considered a malevolent fire spirit of the desert, Ifrit appears throughout middle eastern mythology. My Ifrit is loosely based on the version in the game "Final Fantasy", and modified to be wearable (the horns are sometimes as long as the animal's body!)

As ever, this is made from one piece of 8oz leather, hand carved and hand shaped, painted with Liquitex acrylics.
