Il Tempo Vola V2by *merimask

This new color version of "Il Tempo Vola" (the time flies!) is, perhaps, even more fun than the first one.

A sugary confection of so many different elements...I can't even. It's classical and Baroque and gothic and industrialized, all at once.

I just want to see it in a MOVIE or on TV or something...I'm that pleased with it.

It is made from one piece of 8oz leather, hand carved and shaped without molds or forms, then painted with colorfast acrylics in cream, ivory, and bright gold. I augmented and decorated it with real, vintage brass clock parts (not craft stampings but the real thing).
