Industrial Anubis V9 by merimask Industrial Anubis V9 by merimask
I really love this design; a blend of traditional Egyptian motifs with industrial design elements...I'm calling this guy "Industrial Anubis". This is the 9th version.

It is made from one piece of 8oz leather, hand carved & shaped without molds or forms, then dyed & painted with acrylics. I tried a new painting technique on this version; brassy burnished gold over antique brown, for the metallic bits.

Then I augmented and decorated it with real brass clock parts, securely bolted and cemented to the piece. Some of the parts have sharp edges. Not meant for children.

Signed, dated, numbered original; this is "Industrial Anubis, Version #9", available here: [link]
