We're getting snowed on and snowed in, tonight. But that's okay, because I am a busy little bee.
Just finished this yesterday, & put it up in my Etsy shop
[link] . A new "Knave Of Hearts" mask...I Swarovski-ized it & did the checkerboard in white and blue because it made me happy to do those things.
I usually do the checkerboard part in black and white, and then I photograph it outside and everyone sees the reflection of the sky on the black and says stuff like "Oh I love the blue paint you used!" and then I have to say no, not blue. Black. But this time I just surrender. It's really very blue, that blue you see there. Incredibly blue and not black at all. I mixed pthalo blue with some Prussian blue, and even jazzed it up with a little silver to make it a bit metallic. I actually like it better than the black, too.

I don't know how much you have over there
but much of Sweden have like above knee high,
here in the southern parts it's a bit less
though. I'm so sick of snow and I just feel
restless. So it will be nice to have a mask
to look forward too
