Leather Skull Mask

This is not my usual thing, but if I can't challenge myself & do something that's "not my style" once in a while, then I'm not a very versatile artist I suppose.

This mask was created from a client's team logo. Apparently this is going to be worn in a roller derby, or something like that? It'll be scary as heck to see this rolling towards you at 30 MPH I'll bet... O__O"

Created from one piece of 8oz leather. Carved, tooled, wet formed & heat set. Painted with Liquitex acrylics.
