What's more fun than rabbits? Clockpunk rabbits! Here's a new take on the "March Hare" theme; "March-Of-Time Hare".

This is a hand carved leather rabbit mask with an industrial theme, ready to wear to your next steampunk convention or masquerade. Perfect for Mardi Gras, Halloween, or just a night out at the club.

The mask is hand carved from one piece of 8oz leather, shaped with no mold or form by hand, painted black, rich antiqued silver and gray with colorfast acrylics, and sealed with a clear acrylic for protection.

The hare is also decorated with an assortment of unique steel clockwork parts. This mask is very special, because I used an 11 jeweled clock escapement repurposed as wearable art. With a ~gentle~ flick of your finger, you can set the timing wheel to rocking...it even ticks softly and will move for about a minute after you touch it. The escapement is bolted securely to the mask using special miniature machine screws. Definitely a one-of-a-kind piece.
