March-of-Time Hare V6

This is cool. I ordered these ~wonderful~ clock and watch parts from a repair/antique dealer in London. They came on Friday in the mail and are plain awesome. This is a movement from a vintage Russian pocket watch, with these HUGE rubies (the jewels are a pivot-point for gear spindles; they don't wear away like metal does so they used to use real rubies, diamonds, or quartz for watch movements)...it's a lovely centerpiece of salvaged craftsmanship, repurposed as wearable art.

This mask is made entirely by me, entirely by hand. Leather, clock parts, acrylic paint, ingenuity and love.
