What's more fun than rabbits? Clockpunk rabbits! Here's a new take on the "March Hare" theme; "March-Of-Time Hare".
This is a hand carved leather rabbit mask with one "monocle" eye, ready to wear to your next steampunk convention or masquerade. Perfect for Mardi Gras, Halloween, or just a night out at the club.
The mask is hand carved from one piece of 8oz leather, shaped with no mold or form by hand, painted black, rich antiqued brown and bright gold with colorfast acrylics.
The monocle is half of a pair of retro-look lightweight PVC welding goggles (the left eye). It is custom-fitted to the mask (the hole behind it matches the shape of the opening). The cap may be unscrewed and the 50mm lens replaced. This mask comes with one amber acrylic goggle lens.
The hare is also decorated with an assortment of real antique clockwork parts, including a (non-functioning) vintage brass pocket watch movement. Some care needs to be taken when handling, as the brass cogs and brass clock hands can be sharp. Not intended for children.
This is the very first of what I hope will be a popular design, and numbered "V1". In my shop (until he is sold!) here: [link]

Me and my friend Joe were just talking about you today and how much we covet your works. I have wanted one of your masks for what at least 10 years now.
This is lovely. I wish I could commission one for a certain Steam Powered Rabbit I know, heh. Gorgeous work as always.
