New Black Okami Maskby *merimask

I just updated my Black Okami mask design; added some extra gold details to the red and used bright gold instead of bronze for accents. I think I like it better...it's really flashy!

This is a mask inspired by the main character in the "Okami" video game...a Japanese wolf goddess. Her swirly fur is evocative of the sumi-e (ink painting) art style of ancient Japan.

As ever, it is hand carved from 8oz leather, shaped without a mold or form, & painted with a combination of Liquitex acrylics in jet black, bright red, and bright gold.
