Oki mask, from the Okami video game. A bit of wearable fan art.
It's really hard to create an Anbu mask from thick leather. In fact, it's sort of impossible. A traditional Japanese mask is made of wood or paper mache or plaster, and covers the whole face. Thick leather can really only be shaped as a half-mask...it goes out along your nose but can not come back in to fit under the chin.
I think if I ever do another Oki, I'll do him in wolf form. Wolves I can do easily. Muzzles are much easier in half-mask format than a full face. Still, it'll be fun for cosplay I suppose.
Made with leather, acrylic paint, and a good dollop of nerdy love for "Okami".
