Ouroboros Mask, watersnakeby *merimask

Artisan Crafts / Costumery / Masks

The second of my Ouroboros masks (see here for a description of "Ouroboros" from the great flawed god Wiki: [link] ), I wanted a more monochromatic snake that featured lots of silvers and dark greys against the black background. I think this is some rare snake from India...? Anyway, it fit the bill and I think it's a very pretty snake.

Carved from one piece of 8oz leather, tooled, wet-formed by hand, heat-set, and painted with Liquitex acrylics.
