Purple Jeweled Wolf Maskby *merimask

This is Jeweled Wolf #3. The first one was accented in blue (my favorite color), the second in red (a special request), and this time...purple!

Like all my work, this mask is hand carved from 8oz leather, shaped without a mold or form, & painted with a combination of colorfast Liquitex acrylics in copper, gold, silver, purple and black, with a base of brown. I inlaid a purple cat's eye cabochon in the center.

This time, I tried really hard to stay out of the reflection in the stone when I took the picture.
