Tan Cream Dire Wolf Mask by merimask Tan Cream Dire Wolf Mask by merimask
This was a custom order from my shop ( [link] ) ; a Dire Wolf in shades of pale cream and tan. I've never done a wolf in those colors before, and I have to say I really like it. It looks buttery and delicious. :)

Made entirely by me, entirely by hand. Carved leather, acrylic paint, and love.

I'm currently accepting custom orders at that link above (as of June 2013) on a very limited basis. Happy to do pre-paid custom requests. Keep in mind though that my capability to accept custom work depends on my order queue size and the number of large projects that I have, so there can be a delay from 3 weeks to 2 months while waiting for a commissioned piece. Plan to order accordingly.

That is such a beautiful color scheme! It really fits with the curled-up edges, I think. :)

If Venice be the place where masks hide the face, then they be the true ones to accept that the soul only need to be seen through the voice and the eyes. Wonderful styling, made me remember a book I really enjoyed a while back about the history of Venice called "the kiss of death." The masks have fascinated me ever since, and this is one of my favourites that I have seen.
