Time Bandit Version 5by *merimask

So here's the thing; the black/white/silver Time Bandit masks are wildly popular. But, it's really hard to find good clock parts in "silver" (steel, usually), and I can only come up with just so many assemblages before I run out.

Brass clock parts, on the other hand, are much more plentiful (and antique brass clock gears are wonderful and so varied in design...the possibilities for assemblages are endless).

So I made this "Time Bandit" with gold details on black and white...and I have to say I think I like it even better than the silver! Plus, the antique clock pieces plus oxidized brass is especially cool.

Made from one piece of 8oz leather, hand carved & shaped without molds or forms, then dyed & painted with colorfast acrylics in white, gold, and black. Augmented and decorated with real antique brass and metal clock parts, securely bolted and cemented to the piece.

Because clock parts are hard to come by, no two "Time Bandits" will ever be the same. That's what makes them so much FUN!
