Last mask of 2010...a Tribal Dragon Skull. Again, many thanks to 
for inspiring me with his haunting skull carvings.
Like all my masks, this is hand carved and hand shaped without molds or forms, from one piece of 8oz leather. It's been painted with colorfast Liquitex acrylics in black, brown and white & sealed with an acrylic clearcoat for durability. The tribal designs are tooled in textured relief, as though carved into the "bone".
