Twenty Wolf Masks by merimask Twenty Wolf Masks by merimask
I was commissioned late in the summer to create several wolf masks for Ralph Lauren Rugby. These will be used in the October window displays, in stores all over the country. Very cool!

You can see them in Dallas, NYC, Georgetown(Washington DC) and Boston. Anyone who sends me pictures of the window displays will receive one virtual hug and a llama if you don't have one from me already! ;-)

This mask is often available at my online Etsy shop, and can be commissioned there as well. [link]

Wow! A whole wolf-pack! It's amazing to see how they are each the same, yet have their own subtle differences!

Thank you! I only wish that more of the wolves were going to be displayed together (these guys are getting split up & sent all over the country...just a couple in each diplay). I'd love to do a pack of differently-colored wolves...that'd be so fun in one collection! :-)

LOL, thank you! :-) They're a bit too expensive for my budget but I'm thinking the masks with all the cool hipster-prep clothes are going to look awesome.

Wow that is SO AWESOME!!!! I wish I lived near one of those cities to see the displays! Couldn't you ask the person who handled contracting you to get the store managers to send you pics?

It would look just awesome if they used all the masks in one display - like a pack of male manikins leering at a female manikin in red....*shiver* Hehe, that would get you a ton of commissions if they wanted a pack at every store!

It took a long time 'cause those wolves are so detailed with every hair carved...but that's why they wanted them. ;-)

OH MY Goodness, merimask (: hahahahahahhahahahahhaaa~ awwww- geez, your poor hands...so this is what you've been doing (: how funny... my, they're all very uniform and good.. now i think you should take a break and handle only soft things for a bit... a busy Halloween season deserves a rest - popular or not- don't work your hands too hard all at once!! you'll need them for plenty more friends to build in future ! (:

Holy crap, there's a whole pack of wolves here! Wonder what their intent is behind the displays... just a Halloween theme? Or is this the prelude to the werewolf invasion?

I was told it'd be something based on the Little Red Riding Hood theme...it'll be a hoot to see what they come up with. :-) I'd love to get more commissions like this.

Hee! I'm thinking they're going to be preppie wolves, actually. ;-) But it'd be fun to get more window design work. There's a lot you can do with the theme.
