Here is a pair of masks I finished over the weekend: custom masks for a wedding. A jaguar with blue flames and a wolf with green lightning.

Wedding masks are all the rage this year (same for proms, because wedding trends and prom trends are one and the same). Everyone is doing a masked-ball-themed reception. It seems like it'd be fun! I hope this couple loves their masks. :-)

As ever, these are made of leather. Hand carved, tooled, wet-formed by hand, heat-set, and painted with Liquitex acrylics. The order was for black critters but I brushed some pewter over the fur, to accentuate the carving.

would you happen to know of any images that show a flat version of a wolf similar to this? because im making one but cant seem to find any images of what it should look like before its shaped

These are beautiful. I may do that for my wedding reception, but gotta talk to the fiance first lol. If he thinks its a cool idea too you may here from me soon b/c your mask are amazing.

ooohh wow our masks have become very popular hehe glad to start you a new trend we love them worth every penny a million thank yous the reason behind the idea was simply i want my wedding on halloween what better than a masqurade and what luck i found the brilliant artist who make awsome animal masks my animal spirit wolf my color green my element lightning his panther fire blue and i let the artist do the rest

Those are so awesome. I love the detail on the jaguar the most. The frills on the side of the wolf are spectatular. Keep up the awesome work
