Wedding Mask Pairby *merimask

Here is a pair of masks I finished over the weekend: custom masks for a wedding. A jaguar with blue flames and a wolf with green lightning.

Wedding masks are all the rage this year (same for proms, because wedding trends and prom trends are one and the same). Everyone is doing a masked-ball-themed reception. It seems like it'd be fun! I hope this couple loves their masks.

As ever, these are made of leather. Hand carved, tooled, wet-formed by hand, heat-set, and painted with Liquitex acrylics. The order was for black critters but I brushed some pewter over the fur, to accentuate the carving.
