White and Blue Persian Ravenby *merimask

Artisan Crafts / Costumery / Masks

This Persian Raven (I call the designs "Persian" because they were inspired by the patterns on my Persian rug) was a custom request; white and black with blue and silver accents, and blue Swarovski crystals for extra sparkle. I think this design looks ~really~ sharp in black and white.

As ever, this is made from one piece of 8oz vegetable tanned tooling leather. Carved and shaped by hand, painted with Liquitex acrylics.

I don't know how this escaped my notice; not only is it a raven mask, but it has all my favorite colors (excluding green) meshed into an harmonious whole. Somehow, my favorite part are the ribbons. As always (and this pretty much goes for the rest of your work!) excellent job.
