This Persian Raven (I call the designs "Persian" because they were inspired by the patterns on my Persian rug) was a custom request; white and black with blue and silver accents, and blue Swarovski crystals for extra sparkle. I think this design looks ~really~ sharp in black and white.

As ever, this is made from one piece of 8oz vegetable tanned tooling leather. Carved and shaped by hand, painted with Liquitex acrylics.

Thank you. :-) I hate to admit it (because it's too easy and feels like cheating) but I LOVE using crystals on my masks. It adds an extra element that I can't get with tooling or paint. I just have to be careful not to "bedazzle" it up too much. ;-)

Haha, yes, you don't want to go all out and cover the whole thing in crystals, but a few here and there just look great! They add extra focus and sparkle!
