Description
Here's a new design that is something really magical and special; a coyote adorned with talismans and natural elements. This mask will never be repeated exactly and is one-of-a-kind, and signed as such.
The hawk feathers (and mask) are made of LEATHER that I carved myself. The "fur" mane is actually a turkey feather boa. The cords are hand-knotted hemp.

Can't imagine this being offensive (I'm First Nations). It's only natural to take inspiration from different artists and cultures that we appreciate and incorporate these styles into our work.
Seeing your mask and how it beautifully embodies the art of my ancestors is a compliment, to me. It hurts far worse when I think of how little I've been exposed to artwork like this.
But, really, I think the mask looks like it embodies art from many continents. It's wordly, if you will. And it is the sign of a good artist when many cultures and art styles are combined so fluidly to create a product as lovely as this.
So sorry you've received any BS because of work like this. Of course, I needn't tell you that only the truly thoughtless and uninformed would be offended by this mask.
