Another custom mask. Sekhmet, Egyptian goddess of war. I love it that the ancient Egyptians chose a female creature (lioness) for this entity...obviously, they know how dangerous a seriously-focused woman can be!
As ever, this is hand carved and hand shaped 8 ounce veg-tanned leather. It's wet-formed by hand, set with heat, and painted with Liquitex acrylics in bright gold, black and crimson.
